Is this fish a kind of the freshwater predator?
That's the big question for me, but I think it's not a big deal. The big deal is that the bader is a new kind of my personal fishing experience.
The Bader, it's a local fish name in my area, other local names that I know are beles and brek. To me, physically a bader looks like a Java barb or Silver barb, but there is a red color on the tail.
I tried to find out the scientific classification of the fish, the method I used was to compare pictures of the fish that I had with pictures on fish information sites like FishBase.org and others. The search led me to the Wikipedia webpage that contains pictures of the fish that are almost like mine, so I refer to this Wikipedia page for the scientific classification of the fish, Barbonymus balleroides. I am not a scientist, and it might be wrong, so kindly please let me know.
